Does the vapor XX stick only come grip?

I got a XX stick a little while ago and it doesnt have the grip coating on it. Every shop i go into now has them with the grip coating. Do they still come without the grip coating?

I think some pro stock XX's do not have grip. As far as I know, all the retail XX's have the grip.

Retail XX's come in Grip, non-grip (I had one), and apperantly a sandpaper grip (never personally seen it).However they are all black and look the same, at least the two i've seen do.

The had XX's with the sandpaper grip at peranis, last time i went. I have a retail with grip, and then my teammate has one with a non-grip.

the first retail batches had very little grip, if any. Thew newer ones (have the players name and the pattern number) are shiny and have a thicker grip. Personally I prefer the ones with less grip.

Mine isn't shiny, and has no grip. It was made in Canada. My friends is shiny and was made in Mexico. The Mexico ones have grip, the Canada ones do not... I think.
