Team USA won the FIRS World Championships tonight 4 - 3 in the second overtime. Scoring the game and Gold winner..what a surprise...CJ Yoder...and that after setting up the winning goal in OT against Italy last night. I believe a similar situation happened last year with CJ scoring the Gold medal winning goal, as well as the winner in the semi's. Seems to respond well under pressure.....

lost to the U.S. in the finals. Also, it was USA and Canada in the women's final and the junior men's final.

PS...at 28 he hardly qualifies as "a kid" anymore....

I think the sport is just getting thru in Canada, in my part of the country the roller league only began last year, they play in a regular arena on concrete and they throw pepsi on the floor so that it would be more sticky cause they don't want to buy Sport Court.

I used to skate with CJ and Jamie Yoder, Ron Tracy, Jay Mayzer, and Matty Denton all the time when I used to play roller. They all played around here. (Sothern NJ)
