tacki mac grip question

I just bought 2 grips based on what I read on these boards. Problem is, I cannot get the thing to slide more than a inch down the shaft, and that is without the tape. There were no instructions on the box, so how exactly does it go on? Thanks.

Never mind. Instructions were in other box. Just incase anyone else has same dilema, apply double sided tape, then use warm soapy water and grip slides on pretty easily.

If you want to just try it out and not use the double-sided tape, just use the warm soapy water.

Its hard to get that sticky tape off try just spraying some hairspray inside of grip. then you canslide it on and let it dry
