Painting hockey gloves

Recommended Posts

i used the search engine and found some threads suggesting the use of decocolor markers - Decocolor Markers.

has anyone tried painting or coloring their gloves because that's kind of what i had in mind.

i have sande leather gloves.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks bro you know where i can find some of that?

www.turntablelab.com carries it, but im not sure if they'll ship it.

and have you ever used it before?

I've used it a decent amount, but never on gloves. Its good for almost every surface(metal, glass, concrete) and will never fade, so i'd assume it'd be alright for leather.

Covering almost any color with white is likley not going to look very good. You may just want to get new gloves. Check out the for sale items here or on EBay before you ruin you're current pair.

i'm going to be a senior in high school next season and i have short season for club in the fall and then high school and that might be it so i don't really want to invest a lot of money into gloves when i really dont need em...gotta save up for a car haha

but yeah i hear ya...you think bleach would work??

thanks guys

Bleach is a BAAAAAAD idea. Try white plastic shin guard tape or maybe white duct tape if you can find it. Home depot has many different colors and it should stick just fine. It will more than likely pull off some of the PU after a while, but this may be the best way to make it white.

hmmm thats a pretty good idea...i might try going to the local art shop and asking around and see what they say...and if that doesnt work ill try home depot cuz that sounds like the least trouble and least messiest alternative.

thank you good sir.

any other suggestions welcome as well :)
