Skate Stone

What is the correct way to use a stone to take out small nicks on a skate blade? (JR?) I've never actually used one, last time my team's goalie did it for me :D .

just run it up and down the blade swiftly

the side of the blade. Placethe stone on the side of the blade so it rests on the blade holder.that way the side of your stone will sharpen the edges of the blades. Dont run the rock right down the middle.
