AG vs XP

Is there REALLY a difference? i wanted AG but they didnt have them in my size so i got XP. He said the only diff is the boot is a bit higher but if i undid the top eyelet it would basicly be the same.

I know of at least 1 local retailer in my area that has the 110's on clearance for $249

They are down to $300 CAD here around Mtl now too - Mission skates seem to drop in price very quickly. Your salesman hosed you bigtime - very different skates. If you like soft-fitting boots then you should have waited for the AG - I tried them and they weren't for me at all.

It's a different boot. The AG is lower in the ankle and allows for a deeper knee bend and more movement in the foot. JR can't tell you whether you'll skate slower, or better or what... only you can. It's just like sticks, there's no skate that's going to make you skate super fast... that's why people use different products; because what works for one might not work for another.

i talked to a rep recently and he said that the ag is like most missions, with a softer boot, but the xp is made with a stiffer boot like the vapors and supremes.

Sounds like the ag would be closer to the s500's. Looks like i'll take the xp's back and find ag's somewhere else.
