bearing removal

about those bearing removal tools, has anybody had experience using them? if so, really how much faster is it to remove the bearings as opposed to just jamming it out the hard way?

Much faster, it will save you alot of time. Plus they usually have an allen wrench on the tool as well, so they are well worth the money.

Best 10 bucks ever spent. Mine didn't have the "pulling" end for floating spacers, so keep an eye out for one that has that.

Ditto all the comments. I would typically dent the sides of some of the bearings using anything else to get them out, but not with the tool.
