Pic's/info of old Innovative Shafts?

A long time ago before i knew anything about hockey equipment my father bought me an inovative shaft which came to be my favorite shaft of all time(#2 on my all time favorite stick list next to my Branches Grinder). It was all dark blue with white writing and a tan border around the letters. I have been trying to find out what the hell it was but so far i have not found my answer. There was no grip or polarfibre on this guy, just dark blue smooth graphite. If anyone has any idea what it might be I would love to hear it. The closest thing ive seen to it was an inno 4000 shaft but it was all blue with red and white accents. One again if anyone can give me some information you would make my trip down nostalgia road complete.

i've seen exactly what you describe but with polarfibre and it is a inno 3000

I have one. It's an Innovative 2000. No grip or polarfibre and alittle roundish shaft shape. I've seen the square shaped shaft though.

:lol: Awesome guys! Thanks for the info! Any chance i can see a picture so we can tell whether its a 2000 or 3000? The round shaft shape is the same as i had. Also Sghockey how do you like it? Was it a lower end inno shaft? Oh i feel like im 14 all over again :lol:

If I remember correctly, the 2000 had 1100-ish colours and the 3000 was what Selanne used and it was just....wow, ugly. It was something like white, yellow, blue and maybe purple with a spider web design down it.

mack, youre thinking of the 1000. the 3000 was green on top and went to a smooth dar blue at the bottom.

I think it was a lower end shaft. I remember paying $50 for it. Pretty good shaft though, nice flex, probably about 320g in weight. Didn't use it much and now it's relegated to roller hockey duty.

YES!!! Thats the one :D Oh, the memories... Yeah I think the reason i loved it so much was it was the first stick i used to have some nice whip to it. I remember my shots had more zing on them. Thanks for the pictures i can sleep a little easier now. Im gonna try and track one down on ebay.
