Bauer Supreme vs. Vapor Width

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know the difference in width (specifically) between a Bauer Supreme 8090 and a Vapor XXX? How much room are we talking?

I have the 8090's and was thinking about switching to a Vapor. Good or bad idea? Opinions?

I had the 8090s, and found they were too wide, especially in the forefoot. I switched to the VaporXIX and they fit perfectly.

If the 8090 fits your foot, then i think the Vapor will be too narrow.

Hes right. You could try to bake and punch them, but its too risky to spend a lot of cash for this one.

bumping this from death. i'm coming off 8090s as well in d witdth and i'm looking at a couple pairs of xx's and xxx's on ebay. i can fit in a regular width easton se16 skate and a regular width graf g3/703s no problem, so perhaps the 8090s might have been a bit wide despite them being fantastic for these last few years. if i go for the old vapors should i look for another d width or wider like e or ee? and will be there any length issues? i know the 8090s had a different toe box than the vapors.....at least i thought they did. thanks.

I just got a pair of SE10, which I was told fit like the SE16 (out of my price range) skates yesterday.

10 R in the Easton are perfect for me. I tried regular width Vapor and no dice, but the EE vapor were also a perfect fit on my feet.

So, my advice would be go EE if you are a regular width in the SE boot
