Cag One profiling measurements

Recommended Posts

I get my skates done by a shop that uses a Cag One machine. Instead of using traditional terms like 11ft rocker, and so on, they use numbers like 35/65. I get a 35/65 done on my One90's size 8, what length rocker do I have? Reason I ask is I am not feeling too stable and may want to change the profile. My shop is not accessible at the moment so I need to use a LHS that I do trust. Thanks for any info!!

If you are not feeling stable with a 35/65, something is wrong. That's equivelant to about a 14' radius with a near balanced pitch. Did you ask for a 14'? If you did get one, you should feel very stable, not the reverse, unless they screwed it up.

Thanks for the reply. You were spot on both counts. My LHS that I trust looked at my skates and they are about a 14' radius, and said the profile job was off. I felt like I was always falling backwards, he said he saw why. My LHS has taught powerskating and has seen me skate so we'll get it fixed. Good call!!!
