bauer p106 lie

Hey, just looking for clarification. After looking at several charts including this site's. they all say that the lie of this curve is 5. I bought a vapor XX a while back and it had that lie stamped onto it. However, recently when looking at the newer sticks such as the XXX-lite and one90, they both say the lie is 6. Did bauer simply adjust their measurments so that it is now a lie 6, or did the actually change the molds to make it a lie 6.

Also was wondering if anybody has actually seen the vapor XXX-lite tapered blades in any stores or online anywhere.

Somewhat related. Is Vapor XX "Gagne" going to be a P106 or P10? I've seen mention of both curve being his.

Chadd, thats strange as the 2 sticks I have now, a one90 and vapor XXX-lite, both say lie 6 on the shaft.

Bauer's numbers aren't all that accurate.

Somewhat related. Is Vapor XX "Gagne" going to be a P106 or P10? I've seen mention of both curve being his.

I thought P10 had been discontinued for retail.

I doubt it. The XXX-lite stuff is made at a different factory than the XX or XXX.

No, I believe the only one who does is black beauty. None of Warriors are actually 4, by the way.

Is it a brand or a model? I am currently using a Warrior Weight pattern that seems to be a good lie for me. Could you tell me what the actual lie of this blade is. If I know maybe I won't be limited to Warrior. Thanks for your expertise, and thanks for sharing your knowledge,it is appreciated!

Black Beauty is a company, bbsticks.com

Our pattern DB has it listed as a 5.5, I'm sure it's pretty close to that.

Cool, thanks Chadd. That opens the Bauer sticks back up to me as they do have a two 5 lies. I have a One90 pro stock ( Belanger) that I think is a 6, amazing how much difference there can be between lies one number off.
