New Catch Glove

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a new Catch glove.

I like the glove pretty tight on my hand, so i have some more controle, i know there are straps for that but i found that it just doesn't work on every glove.

I'm thinking about the Rbk P2 pro but do you have any suggestions?

Are you looking for pro palms or not? Senior or pro level?

I've always been a fan of Eagle and they have great customer service. I also Like Brian's. I actually had trouble putting on my friend's TPS Bionic catcher(I have large hands) but it felt nice and he loves it.

i would recommend some smiths.

i just got a pair of 5000's and they have 2 wrist strap's (they are about 2" apart)and also has a strap that goes like a V accross the back of your hand. it starts from the bottom of the thumb, goes across the back of your hand through a loop, then back across just below your knuckles where it then is stitched into the glove. along with the pinky and thumb ties of course.

support the smaller guys!!

the smith like he said has three straps on the back of the glove which if you tighten it it will fit snug, and customer service is amazing, petes that man!

I would have to disagree I have small hands and i cant close my glove, most proberly because it is a palm break glove instead of a finger break

(like velo).

Im considering ditching my 5oo catcher and going back to my V1

Two awesome gloves:

Bauer Supreme: the new glove is going to be awesome, you should maybe check it out when they are released. Not as tight as some other gloves though. The new double tee makes the pocket bigger to decrease pop-outs.

Brians Thief II: Awesome glove, it closes so nicely!! Right out of the box it is perfectly broken in, I tried it on in a store and it was so awesome. The straps are better than the Bauer(IMO) so you can adjust them and make them tight. A real great glove!!

Those are my two suggestions. Any questions PM me, or just reply in this thread, and I will try to answer with the best of my knowledge.

see, i was afraid of that same thing.

i have small hands also and tried on a few vaughn models and an RBK.

the gloves just didnt feel right, granted they were new. but something about my hand and where the gloves break was didnt match. the vaughns where to high and the RBK just felt, um, off.

i bought the smiths, sight unseen. i bought them mainly from the kudos they got here on this board! it was either the smiths or the VK's.

luckily, smith had the color scheme i wanted in stock, while the VK's where 5 weeks out.

got em, put em on and they fit.... like a glove.

i couldnt be happier with them, but to each their own!

id suggest the tps summit glove is nice and secure to the hand and the Velocity 3 glove also is nice and secure to the hand with many straps to customize it
