Through USPS the largest package you can send overseas is 108" around, according to my local Post Office. Which would be good for a shaft <54", but not for a stick. Your only other options would be Fedex, UPS or DHL, which would most likely be very expensive probably more than the stick itself.

Personally I dont think it would be worth it for the buyer.

depends, because the costs of equipment is expensive over there.

I sent a couple shafts to the UK for Chrisgp(i think that's his handle) and it cost $25 to ship via usps and got there in under a week.

how did you package it? i used to always get screwed with oversized becasue the box was literally 2 feet wide with a 2 in stick in there. to ship to canada and other states i bubble it up and then put it in a black sleeve that looks like a heavy duty garbage bag. think that would work to the uk?

Word of advice. My family back home is in the republic of Ireland, my wifes are from Northern Ireland (which is part of the UK).

When shipping, my advice is to always mark "returning items left on vacation", value as $0

This will save you having to pay VAT and duty (VAT = Value Added Tax, somewhere in the range of 17-18% of the value on the customs).

This means you will have no insurance on it, unless you insure for lost items, thats it.

Unless the buyer is willing to pay duty COD (they will do that, they will hold the item at the post office and send out a notice of VAT due)
