Yes! The new ST blade is a short hosel standard blade. And yes, your stick would be shorter with the st than with the Focus flex.

I am holding 2 of them... and they're both standard. I know they do make a tapered alternative...it's "Momentum XD Taper Fit". Notice I left out the "Taper Fit"?
