Lightspeed 1 vs ls2

I had one of my holders switched out and they put a LS1 by accident and said its the same holder...I now have a LS1 and a LS2 on the the other skate. Are they the same?

Yes. The difference is the hardware.

Functionally, they are the same and JR mentioned the LS2 hardware is different. But, the original LS holders had scallops in the holders near the blade. If you got one of them, only your sharpener will have a problem, having to be real careful when honing. other than that, you have nothing to worry about.

The scallops were changed in mid-season, so there is a chance he has LS1s w/o scallops.
