Vector 110 Stick

Recommended Posts

How is the quality of this stick? I know it was top of the line when it came out and I was wondering how it compares to some of the newer sticks in feel, shooting, durability, etc. . Also, how does it compare to the '04 Synergy Grip, and would it be worth $75 or would I be better off getting a lower line new stick or a 2-piece?

i am a backer of the v110

still one of the toughest sticks out there

the 120 has durability issues but performance is about the same

and at $75, total score

i'd get the v110

and just throwing this out there... the v120's blade is crap. The v120 and v110 have nice durable shafts and decent performance... don't expect anything amazing.

110s have very durable shafts but the performance is sub-par

I know a lot of people found the performance poor, but I loved mine, I even found the feel good, I'd go for it for $75, they're good sticks. Its worth mentioning that they do have a way different feel then almost any other stick I've used.

Blades get soft way too quickly for me. Nothing like trying to make a pass and having the blade lag.

I can get the 110 or the Synthesis for the same price. How do they compare?

When the blade goes on the 110, you aren't going to be able to put a blade in the shaft. That may or may not make a difference to you.

after about 6 months the blade on my 110 was laggy so i cut it off and turned it upside down shoving a blade in the handle and i have never had a better shaft

im a big vector fan, so needless to say im supporting the v110. i just think its an all around great stick, and i think hockeyworld is having a big sale on them. 2 for $100 i think. id go for it. as for the synthesis, im not so sure seeing as ive never had one. good luck on your decision.

hockeyworld.com:

Weight:

SR: 460 grams

INT: 420 grams

JR: 330 grams

When they came out the seniors were over 500g, 460 is not accurate for a full length stick.
