Just got the mockups back on our jerseys

I had mentioned before, myself and a couple of other guys here run a charity, golf tourney annually and hockey games monthly. The games take a maryland v virginia tilt, simply because of our proximity.

Anyway, we got a really sweet deal on both jerseys (the rbk heavy duty practice jerseys) and the printing.

The mockups came back.

Apart from changing the .com to .org which is the correct address, we are going with the colours as shown.

I Like em.. Got the modern designs on the side, yet the retro/old school letters diagonally across the chest. Very nice look. Was the "Blue and Grey" look done for a reason? :D

Maryland as a blue state wouldn't make a lot of sense. During the Civil War Maryland was a border state and largely fence riding where a lot of the poulation was pro Confederate. With many men from Maryland fighting for the CSA as well as the union. There was a considerable chance that Maryland could have joined the CSA. In fact Maryland only rejected succession after Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus and union forces arrested and imprisoned pro Confederate state congressmen. Virigia was certainly a tried and true CSA member, but Maryland certainly wasn't its equal with respect to the union.

At the last game we basically done a vote.

There was Black/White, Red/Blue, Blue/Gray and there was one more I think.

Gray/Blue won out.

It may have been because that was the samples that were on display, and they looked nice in person.
