swede 52 Report post Posted May 22, 2007 since the Prolite's no longer are made, i think it would be smarter to have the tuuks profiled instead.. And cheaper as well.
cougarscaptain87 12 Report post Posted May 22, 2007 if your asking if you could swap them out, the answer is yes. look on the Tuuk, and find a 3 digit number ( somewhere around a 250 i believe for a size 7 ) thats the measurment of the holder in mm. then you have to find the holder of your choice in the same size. then you will want to take the skates to your LHS, and have them drill and rivet the new holders on. fairly simple task, but id leave it to the professionals if you dont know what your doing, and you most likely will not have all the necessary tools. icedevil82 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2007 If you're going to swap holders why not go with E-Pros, they'd come with the 11' radius you're used to and the neutral pitch....just more durable than ProLites.
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted May 22, 2007 I was recently corrected when I hinted that the e-pros had a 11' radius as the prolite-3 and was told it's a 10' radius. I honestly don't know but that's what I was told(on here). I think it would be a better option to get the skates profited the way you like them then to swap the holders. Personally, I could never understand why anyone would want prolites on their skates. They just flex too much, but to each his/her own.
