Pitch holder on Daoust 301?

I was lucky enough to get a pair of absolutely mint condition Daoust 301s on the cheap. Unfortunately, the TUUK holders are both in poor shape. I'd like to replace them with the Mission Pitch-3s (heard great things about their durability and edge retention).

I know the Pitch holder matches perfectly with the TUUK Custom+, but I can't find any confirmation that the original TUUK (pre-Custom) from my Daoust boot will match with the Custom+/Pitch. The runner-length measurements are slightly different: 263mm for a Pitch/Custom+ in size 7.5D, 260mm in the basic TUUK.

So...

Do I want 263 or 254 Pitch holders?

Will the rivet holes match up from my Daoust TUUKs to the Pitch holders? (I've very leery of drilling new holes in the Daoust boots.)

Shit... thanks JR. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and drill the Daousts, or just use the slightly less sexy Micron 10-90s that've already had C+ holders mounted.

One quick follow-up question:

What holders (if any) do fit the original TUUK hole patterns?

None.

Do you have a cardboard insole?

I mean, chances are you may have to widen some holes. But I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Gotcha - nothing too dicey, but some work required.

I guess I'm just being unnecessarily tentative... the leather insole is in remarkably good condition for having sat in the basement of a bike shop for god knows how long.

The low-end Daoust had the cardboard insole. The 301 always featured a leather insole.
