Graf 735 Sizing Help

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find out what size a pair of Graf skates would be. My teammate measured the sole of his G35's, comes out to 27.5 centimeters or 10.8 inches. Does anyone know how this would translate into Graf size?

The sizing tag has been torn off the skate and there are no other indications of size. He knows that it is a Wide and thinks that it's either a size 7.5 or 8.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

What size is the holder?

Thanks for the reply. I will check the size of the holder.

To clarify, the measurement above is the length of the outsole.

Rather than start a new thread my question is also on Graf 735 fit.

I have skated in a Graf 704 but the LHS who carried Graf at that time fit me poorly and I was not wise enough to know the difference. I had a size 9 W in the 704 and they were about 1/2 inches too long, but the width was maybe just a tad bit too wide. I know I couldn't fit into a 9 Regular 704 the the LHS was trying to sell me. My foot is narrow in the heel and midfoot but wider in the toes ( ball of foot forward) and the 704 was also a tad shallow. Nobody here carries Graf anymore so I wanted some suggestions on 735 sizing.

Would I need a wide in a 735? Also I am assuming a size 8 would do the trick. Thanks for any help. Nobody here that I trust carries Graf.

Can anyone compare a Graf 704 to a Graf 703. Is the 704 deeper that the 703 or the same? Thanks. I think I am going with the 735 but just want to make sure. My LHS doesn't carry Graf and has advised me to purchase online. My only concearn is that the 735 may be too stiff. The stiffness on my 704's was fine, so if the 735 is about the same then I can use them.

Go with 1 1/2 size smaller than shoe size positively. If you have flat feet, get wide. They are narrow heeled and very comfortable. I got both the ultra g35 wides and 735 wides and they fit like a glove. A always wear a thin dress sock for skating and the fit is perfect. I never baked either.

Hope this helps. I skated in CCM's, Bauers, and Nikes. These have just the right amount of stiffness and by far were the most comfortable. These fit for a thin ankle and normal foot. Give em a shot. Skates aren't forever. You can always give another brand a shot. Good luck.

Thanks Dollarhyde. I tried the 735's in a R width, just a bit too narrow for me in the forefoot, and maybe even in the ankle- maybe. I have decided to go with a Ultra G35 in a 7.5 Wide. How much stiffer is the Ultra G35 than the 735?
