Easton Air 4000 pants

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I just found a really good deal on the Easton Air 4000 pant, and I'm just looking for some more info about them. I know they're older pants (2000?) but I need something smaller because I lost a lot of weight and my 8Ks don't fit my waist. They seemed great in the store and they're made in Canada. So just basically I'm looking for some reviews and any negatives towards these pants.TIA

I think I had pair of these in the late 90s. I know I had the top of the line retail pant before the Synergy pants. The protection was really good, but they were a tad heavy. Additionally, I do not think the liner was water repellant.

Great pant--I still have mine. I have the Dallas Stars '99 pro stock model. I don't think they are that heavy at all.

Awesome pant! Have a pair of Pro Chicago Airs, Great protection, great comfort. I agree with BGM not that heavy at all.

Thanks alot for the input. I'd have them already, but the power went out in the store so I couldn't pay for them. I'll hopefully pick them up tomorrow before I play, thanks again for the input and reassurance :D

Replay sports (www.replaysports.ca) in Richmond, BC. You can call them if you're interested but I'm not sure if they ship or not, they've got a pretty big selection of Air 4000, Air, and Ultra-lite pants, brand new. They were priced from $65 and below depending on color.

Yeah, I can't wait to try them out tomorrow. My first high-end pant was the 2001 Z-air, but I hated the spine protector. They feel pretty good walking around in them. They kind of remind me of Tacklas, needless to say, I've got pretty high expectations for this pant.
