It doesn't cover the nose(which is what makes it so great fogging wise), that's the offcial explanation I've heard.

Yeah, the nose thing is what I've been told too. As well as the fact that the front center part of it doesn't attach to the helmet itself, it kind of dips down. Certain leagues require that the visor be attached at the sides and the middle.

I use a Pro Wave for pick-up games and such, I'm usually the only one who isn't trying to see through fog after their 1st shift. Great visor if your will let you use it.
