NB One90 blade?

Recommended Posts

Assuming that it has the same technology as the one on the OPS (just not tapered), it's a good blade, and it hasn't lost stiffness for me yet. Try it out and see how it does.

I swing it in a P88 pattern. Great blade, used it for a few skates and it's held up well thus far. Usual chipping, but nothing major. I'm going to keep buying this blade.

how do you like the One90 stick in general? I am trying to decide if I want to purchase that shaft or an easton Ultralite shaft.

I have my mind set on a One90 blade now because I want a 6 lie. If it would not make an ultralite feel blade heavy I would rather have that with the one90, but if the One90 shaft is nice and durable then I might as well just get it.

I like it a lot, no problems at all, minus the paint chips. There is, however, a weird looking chip that looks like some of the composite material on the bottom of my shaft (on the taper) fell off. The feel is good, but I've been using composites my whole life so take that with a grain of salt. There's plenty of kick to the shaft and the whole stick is very nicely balanced IMO. I've used both the Ultra-Lite (it's my backup) and the One90, and the One90 is definitely a better shooting stick, but I attribute that to the taper. You can't go wrong with the UL, IMO, it has decent performance, but it's an absolute TANK. I don't like Z-Bubbles very much anyways (they break a lot), so either shaft would be an upgrade, barring the possibility of you having a Green Bubble.

I'll post a picture of my chipped stick in this thread later today, so you can see what it's like.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, the "chip" just appears to be a paint chip beyond the smooth gray first coat, which is exposing a section of chipped (barely any) black composite on the underside of my stick, on the taper.

On another note, there is a VERY distinct line where the taper turns into the blade on my stick, do any other One90 owners have this?

how light is it in comparison to the ultralite? Reading the description over at inlinewarehouse.com, they make it sound like its made for guys who are more power oriented straight forward, take mainly slappers.

I have no idea, by "the One90" in my post, I meant the OPS version. If I'd give a guesstimate on the One90 shaft's weight, I'd imagine it's around 280g.

Does anyone have a weight on the one90 blade? I need to balance out an Int. Shaft and was wondering if anyone know if it weighs more than a z-carb CNT?
