Skate punching

Has anyone ever had thier skates punched? I just got my Vector 7.0 and they have some hot spots. How exactly does this machine with the special bit work?

I had my vapor 10s punched out in a couple of spots. It has worked out well for me.

The machine that did it was our very own, JR. Frankly, i dont want to know about his "special bits"

I got my grafs punched out and there all good.

does punching them out make them weaker, or make them last not as long as not having it done?

My grafs were done i wold still be useing then but i grew outa them i used them for about two and a half years

Hell, even I'll punch out my own skates. Not a big deal at all to do.

Punching is creating a "hole" in a certain area.

What I did for Enukis was heat up the boot, and caved a spot in his forefoot. Not the same as stretching.
