Takes an insane amount of courage to stop something like this.

Wild forward Branko Radivojevic and New York Rangers forward Marcel Hossa reportedly helped break up a fight involving neo-Nazis in Trencin, Slovakia, over the weekend in which one man was stabbed.

Slovakia's Pravda Daily reported Monday that a man was being attacked by more than 10 neo-Nazi supporters when Radivojevic, Hossa and another man came to the victim's defence. The attackers then fled.

Radivojevic and Hossa reportedly took the man to a hospital, where he underwent surgery and was recovering.

So, let me get this straight....Hossa will step in front of 10 Neo Nazi's with knives...but he won't back-check....C'mon!

Wrong Hossa! Thats Marian you are thinking of. Tom Renney showed Marcel his own defensive zone this season. Renney told Marcel if he didn't start his shift there he wouldn't see the offensive zone ever again. As for Marian, no defensive zone responsibilities! Neo-Nazis or otherwise.

Hossa was one of Renney's penalty killers...

As for Marian Hossa, he is often praised as a great all around player. I believe led the league in short handed goals last season.

I didn't see him much after he left Montreal....maybe Renney got him thinking differently 'cause I don't recall him playing much D in MTL or Hamilton.

Marcel was pretty sound this year, I have no real complaints other than that I wished he had one tenth the skill his brother has. But defensively, he did kill penalties, and being on a line with Nylander and Jagr, he was definitely a bright spot defensively for that line.

I think Marian is a great overall player. They always remind viewers during games that he picked up a lot of defensive responsibility and two-way play playing for Martin in Ottawa. He still kills penalties in Atlanta.

It doesn't say what they did to intervene. I assumed physical intervention at first, but maybe they just paid the nazi guys hundreds of dollars to go away.
