Glove Dying?

I was searching around and all it talked about was painting leather gloves. My question is can I use rit dye for example to dye nylon gloves? The palms are shot and I removed them, so can I just drop them into the dye and then wait till they dry out?

There are better dyes for nylon fabrics than Rit. You could give the acid dyes a shot from Dharma Trading Co. a shot. They even have a method for doing them in the washing machine on the hot wash/cool rinse cycle.

What color are the gloves now, and what color do you want them to be? Going from a lighter color to darker works the best. I would recommend trying a quality fabric marker first, you would achieve the desired effect, but would be able to control exactly how much dye/ink was applied to the glove.
