Any L.H.S. in Seattle?

Recommended Posts

I will be going to Seattle next week and am just wondering if there are any hockey store there. I am planning to pick up a pair of skates there if possible, thanks!!

I tried hockeygiant, but they charge me $40 bucks for shipping :(

Thanks a lot!! So are they in Bellevue? I believe there is a big shopping mall in Bellevue (with Tiffany, Apple store, Mont Blanc, etc). Is the hockey shop close to this mall?

It's in Kirkland, which is just a couple miles north of Bellevue, so if you are going to Bellevue Square anyway its not out of your way at all. The shop is right off 405 too so its pretty easy to get there, just make sure you print out the directions because it's hard to see from the street. I drove right by it the first time.

If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?

I will be coming from Vancouver. If the store in Seattle can match the price of online retailers from the States, it would be a really good deal since the LHS here in Vancouver do set the prices a bit higher. For example, we have to pay $400CDN for a pair of Vapor XXV. I've seen them for as low as $269US.

I got my pair of XXV's today. I was worrying about price matching but this shop is cool! I got my XXV for 219...that's around 50 bucks cheaper than any web store I've found! THey even had the Vector 10's for 350 and RBK 9K for 380...amazingly good deals compared to the expensive shops up here in Vancouver! On top of the good price, they provide 1 year of free sharpening and heat molding!!

Ya man, seriously, you should! I am amazed at the good prices. Other stuffs are priced more normally but the discounts on the skates are great. Thanks for the good suggestion, The Stranger!

I may have to hit it up when I am up there. My in-laws are from Sunnyside. Do you happen to know any good shops near the tri cities area?

How much taxes/duties did you pay when you crossed back over into Canada?

I was lucky...I told the officer the exact amount of everything I purchased. I did have to pay the tax in Seattle tho. But they have really great prices and the shop is small yet very nice. Definitely worth the drive to get stuffs from them!!

As for AG Fuel 100, you can call them to ask. I believe I might have seen it there. They have pretty much everything cept GRAF's...I think.

There is a new one called Hockey Armor, I have not been to it.

Hockey Armor is situated next to the Albertsons at Trent and Argonne. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The phone number is 927-4625.
Area code is 509.

Spokane? Is that close to Kirkland? If so, definitely visit NWPro if you need skates. They are doing clearance on RBK and CCM...very good price!
