It is a great rumor with lots of miles on it but it doesn't add up. Why would Brent Sutter spend all this time with Red Deer setting himself up for the best possible NHL coaching situation and then think New Jersey is the one? I don't get it. That said, he will probably take the job and I will remind myself how nothing ever makes sense.
