It's all preference. A shorter stick makes it much easier to stickhandle while a longer one gives a bit more jump on shots.

I understand that. What I am asking is if you think your stick could be shorter, what is the best way to find the right length and minimize the risk that the stick gets cut too short.

Try it on a cheap wood stick and not a $150 OPS.

IF you right click on the picture and select "properties" you can see it's from ice warehouse.

If you right click and select "view image" or "copy image location" then you'll see (well, at least after pasting the latter), that it's from icewarehouse in the URL. Of course, you can control click if you're on a MacBook. (Yeah, I'm on an iMac).
