Converting Videos

I have a question. I sent a video from my cell phone to my e-mail, but when I download the file, it comes up as a 3GPP2 file, so I can't open it in Windows Media Player, only QuickTime or RealPlayer. I don't have QuickTime Pro so I can't save it as another file type in there, I can't even save period. I wanted to make a longer-length video out of it on Windows Movie Maker but because it's a 3GPP2 file, I can't. Does anyone know how to convert this to an mpeg file, or some type that will allow me to open it in Windows Media Player? Thanks a lot in advance.
