So my question is what is the difference when you order jerseys I'm asked what material I want Heavy Weight Mesh or Heavy Weight AirKnit. What material is used for jerseys in pro leagues?

Both are used. Airknit is a fabric with smaller interlocking holes and thus not totally see through. Heavyweight mesh has the larger open holes. Airknit is like most replica jerseys, while heavyweight mesh is like practice football jerseys- cooler, but don't look as nice.

toronto jerseys use both... mesh under the arms and airknit everywhere else.
