I went cage-less this week for the first time and bought a Shock Doctor Pro for about $6. It was comfortable and pretty easy to breath, better than I thought it would be. If it is as good as the other in protection (I don't know how to compare this), I would say it was a good deal.

i have an o-pro. I got the mid-level and i think it's great. Took a little bit to get used to for me though. But once it's in, it stays put! It's easy to breath and pretty easy to talk once you get used to it. I do wish it had a string attached so i could just spit it out in my mask.

I wear a mask and i got the mouthguard to help protect against concussions since i have only been playing for a bit over a year and i tend to still fall hard sometimes. I haven't bonked my head yet, but since i have t o get to work the next day avoiding a concussion seemed like a good idea to me.

Yeah I had that same problem with the Gel Max. It didn't fit right, re-boiled, and it just got worse and worse.

Gravity was MUCH easier to fit and seems a lot more solid. I also don't think I had to cut it at all.

How exactly did you fit the gravity?

As for me i have braces so i have the shock doctor braces mouth guard. So thick and impossible to talk in.
