I know the pitch 3 holder is one of the most popular holders. However what i always hear is how good the steel is, actually i usually hear it is the best. But isnt it just stainless steel?, The same stainless steel found on many of the new vapors (XXXX, XXV, XXII). So why all the fuss about the steel on the pitch three, when its the same as the steel on other skates?

yeah.. both are stainless steel, but As anything else on the market, there are differences is quality. And i doubt mission buys their steel from the same steel company as bauer do..

It like comparing a KIA to a Chevy. Both are cars, but there is big differences...

Yea i know, but its not even that big of a difference, its like the difference between and Equinox, and a trail blaazer. Both are SUV's (both stainless) but they are still not the same. But either way, i know what you mean by they are not the same.

NBH steel is fine. There's certainly worst steel out there.

Stainless Steel is an alloy - and there are different grades based on chromium/nickel content. That being said, I'd love to see the Rockwell Hardness test data on all of the steel on the market.
