Nike Bauer Supreme One90 Girdle or the Mission Thorax Advantage?

Hey everybody!

I need your opinion on these two girdles for high school roller hockey. Right now i am wearing an ice Mission M-2 pant, which is way too bulky and hard to move with the hockey pants over it.So i need a new one and I have concluded to these two girdles..

I really want something that will protect the tail bone and the thighs. Price does not matter.

I can't speak for the one90, but I can say that the Thorax is amazing. I have taken some slapshots off it, hit my hips on the boards, and have fallen on my ass without any injuries.

It fits like a glove too.. its pretty much spandex with about 12 different armor plates and a built in cup. Gets two thumbs up from me.

Ice girldles might be a bit much for roller. If you feel the extra money and protection are worth it, then by all means.

I have had very good experiences with the various Mission girdles I've used (D series and Helium). Very light, breathable, excellent motion, and protective enough.

I was thinking about switching to the tighter Thorax model, but I'm gonna wait for the new product to hit the shelves soon.

Is the less protection in than thorax than in the D1 girlde, or about the same?

I have both a Mision D1 and a Easton Synergy girdle for full contact rollerhockey.

D1 has too little protection and the Synergy has "too much" protection. (the protection is great but it's a alittle too bulky for my taste)

Something in between those 2 would be sweet.

Find a thorax advantage girdle...You will be happy with that....

When I played competitive roller I used the MBP girdle (solid version of the ONE90, no velcro) and it was overkill for roller. Go with the Thorax.

I use a Mission D2 and it's really comfortable.. I dunno if you could still find that though.

ive been using the ccm pf10 girdle for the past 2 years and i love it. its very light weight and protective enough for roller hockey

I use an MBP for roller and I agree with JR, it's a bit overkill to use an ice girdle for roller.

I have the mission d1 and love it. Just the right amount of protection for me. My buddy has the thorax and I would definately lean it that direction-form fitting and not bulky..

the thorax advantage gives me superior tailbone protection...i've been putt on my a$$ many times and no injury
