Good idea, but what if you snap a blade, the sillicone will be hard to remove from inside and the new blade may not fit in correctly?

Just a thought?

My NBH rep gave me a tube of silicone to fix the problem. That is what they are telling dealers to do.

My LS2P's have the same issue. Is NBH fixing this problem on newly manufactured holders or are they gonna give silicone to all new owners? If I wanted to buy a new pair of LS2P's are they likely to have this same problem?

It doesn't happen to all of the skates, but to those that do, that is the fix.

I've never had to use it. I can't tell you what it is, because the tube is Chinese.

What about newly manufactured holders though? Is NBH stepping up their quality control on these?
