I was at my local Play It Again and saw a used stick that caught my eye.

It's a white east ultra lite 100 flex shaft with minimal wear and the blade was taped up but I was pretty sure it was a Z Carbon CNT...

49.99.

So I buy it, untape the blade and the blade is literally like new...

So, good deal? I'm happy with it, I think... gonna use it tonight and see how it feels, been looking for something stiffer than the stick I've been using... this feels good.

good deal... isnt the blade pretty much worth that much. that must be a nice surprise to find out the blade is like new

Yeah, I've heard great things about the UL shaft but they've always been out of my price range...

So I'm happy to be able to give it a run.

And yeah, a nice surprise with the blade... I swear, if I could clean off all the glue, it could pass for new, no doubt.

you could heat it up with a heat gun and rub the glue off with a paper towel.

The shaft itself retails for $70+, so yeah, nice pickup.

sweet deal. Play It Again has some pretty good stuff from time to time. saw a few old Innovative shafts there last time i went, but they were way too stiff. they were the black with blue trim, if that rings any bells.

Yeah, my PIA has a huge stock of used skates but I'd say 90% of them are sizde 9 or smaller... so the pickings become slim when you need 10.5s and whatnots, but I've seen a few pairs there where I said to myself "Damn, I wish my feet were smaller."
