Vaughn 5500 Helmet

I just purchased one via ebay, and just curious as to it's details. The Vaughn site no longer has info on it. What pros/cons etc? Was it a low, mid end, stuff like that.

The Vaughn 5500 was a high end mask. Pretty comfortable too. The cons were 1) narrow chin and 2) slightly heavier than most modern masks. Otherwise a really nice piece.

The 5500 was not a high-end mask but a mid-level one, at best. Nothing wrong with it other than the slightly heavier weight attributable to the builder.

Nonetheless, it's a good price for the mask alone and if you actually like the paint job then that is just a bonus. I was, in no way, shape or form, trying to disparage your purchase.
