Easton 1100's Gone with the wind.

As most of you know my Easton 1100's disappeared from my hockey bag not so long ago. Thanks to the creep who toke them for that. So this weekend I was wandering along in my local Sports Chek store and low and behold ventured upon a wall of Bauer hockey skates. A lot of the guys on this site have said the fit on Bauer skates is much better these days so I toke a leap of faith and tried on a few models. Lo and behold this is the not the Bauer fit I remember from the past where you suffered with discomfort for the on ice feel. In fact the fit is so good I can even comfortably get into a D width in these newer models. To make a long story short I picked up a pair of Bauer Supreme 50's at an incredible 20 per cent off. I actually would prefer the Supreme 70's or the Vapor XV's or XX11's but I am kind of strapped for cash after a very long summer of house repairs. Anyways I'm back into Bauers for the first time in about twenty years and again I love the on ice feel of these puppies.
