RBK 9K SKATE QUESTION

Recommended Posts

I have worn these about 3 times now, and it feels in one skate that heel is sitting to high and not locking down properly, the right side fits fine. I tried them on during two different occassions and everything felt fine, but my left just doesnt fit as nice as the left, I also have shock doctor insoles. Any ideas or suggestions to fix this issue?

thanks guys

You're not going to like this, but it sounds like they don't fit you properly. I would guess that one foot is smaller than the other, and as the skates have packed out that foot moving in the heel whn you push off.

RBKs have very wide heels.

My heel feels like its sitting high, and not in place. if it was to wide it would be sitting down but with movement. it doesnt feel wide, it feels like its not sitting flat.

You might need to bake them again at your lhs. It might also be worth having them look at the fit of the skates if these any other adjustments that they might be able to make to them.

I would have to agree, because I had the same issue. One of my feet were floating in the boot, and nothing I did would get my heel to lock in place.

I too had the same problem about the heel. I had to buy wide skates because the bottom of my foot is displaced outwards. Difficult to explain, anyway, if you go to a running shoe store they should have some insoles that are heat moldable. You microwave them and when they are done put a lot of pressure on the area that you want lowered and it should mold to the foot quite nicely. I may be way off topic but if i read your post correctly i think they should help you out.
