Anyone's thoughts on the Bisping v Hamill decision? Hamill owned Bisping. Sounded like a hometown ruling for Bisping.

I was actually kind of disappointed about the Henderson v Jackson decision as well...

I know one thing, Cro Cop obviously having lost it as a fighter just gave Fedor all the leverage he needs.

And, if Shogun doesn't completely own his much less talented opponent then there might just be Henderson/Jackson 2.

Crocop was immensely disappointing, and Bisping was definitely a homer decision IMO. Henderson/Rampage was too close to call beforehand, but i'm not disappointed with the outcome.

The Bisping thing I don't get either, unless he got points for defending and getting himself out of being taken down.

Most of the takedowns were just charges, but he had to really work to get out of them, so the defense may have got more points.

If thats not it, I'm as puzzled as the rest of you, he seemed to be beaten pretty well, and I was rooting for him, so it's not like I have a bias toward Hamill.

I think the Henderson/Jackson decision was the right one, Henderson dominated the first round, but was fighing out of position for the rest of the night, never looked comfortable, and was controlled from the ground. As a 2 time olympian wrestler, he should have been better there.

That puts CroCops title hopes out the window for a lonnnnng time.

Pretty good fight card all round, I thought the Bisping/Hamill was the least entertaining of the lot, although I may have built it up, as I was looking forward to it most, and was a big fan of TUF 3

I agree too, overall it was an entertaining fight card. The Davis v Taylor fight was awesome. I thought it was going to get called when Tayloy kind of had him pinned and was pounding him, but Davis pulled away and deserved the win...

After Cro Cop's first loss it doesn't seem he was in the right frame of mind. He was talking about retiring after the loss to Gonzaga. He barely threw down, almost waiting for the right time to strike but anyone who fights him should know to look for that, and Kongo worked on his ground game...

I would've liked to see Henderson win, but I think some of these guys who have these great wrestling skills really don't show it in the ring. Henderson didn't impress much with it last night, and even before when St. Pierre owned Koschek on the ground.

I sure as hell would think that UFC will hear a lot of crap from fans about the Hamill decision. And that it was publicly televised doesn't ,ake the organization look good.

Absolute home town decision last night. There is no way the Bisping "won" that fight against Hammil. Hammil's boxing was far superior, and he was taking him down and controlling him on the ground. Didn't agree with that one at all.

So the "worlds most feared striker" just got owned. I have to say, Kongo looked great in that fight. Great body strikes and kicks, and devastating knees (include the pair to the family fortune....OOOOOO). He simply picked apart Cro Cop.

Looking forward to Couture and Kongo. :)

Thought the Hamill call was BS and definately an attempt to please the Fans. Henderson started off strong, but got worked the next 4 rounds. Upset it went to a decision, but think it was the right one. Couldn't believe the Cro Cop fight, Kongo looked good, but I think alot of it was Cro Cop simply backed off. When he pushed, he did well, but he didn't seem interested in attacking.

Cro cop won the first round. He also broke one of his ribs at the end of the first round. Thats why he was so passive in the other rounds. I think if he didnt have a broken rib he would have won for sure.
