Cut/Scrape on One90s

On my One90s, there are two places that are showing damage. One appears to be a cut, and the other almost looks like it was scraped by something abrasive. In both places, the result is that the fibres of the boot have become exposed so when you run your fingers over them they feel very similar to a stiff brush. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if it's significant or not. Is it necessary to seal them to prevent further damage, and if so, what should I use: epoxy, nail polish, clear protectoe? Thanks.

The fibers of the boot are exposed? I have some cuts and scrapes on my One90's and the fibers aren't exposed. Is it possible for you to put up some pictures?

It's the same material as what is on Vapor skates.

Clear pro-toe or nail polish should od the trick if it bothers you that much.

If it's only a cosmetic thing I don't care. I'm only wondering if leaving it unsealed is going to predispose the boot to further damage?
