Pant fit woes!

Recommended Posts

Has anyone noticed a major change in size switching to Easton gear? I was wearing XXL Mission L3 pants, and now that I've I switched to Synergy 500's in XL, they feel even larger than the L3's - the fact that they have only one belt doesn't help.

Different brands fit differently. I'm between sizes in Easton so I use CCM. Only way I found this out was by trying on every brand the LHS had and going with the pair that fit best regardless of brand.

It's true Easton pants fit differently than a lot of other brands. I can wear an XL in a CCM or Mission pant but I need to go down to a L(large) in an Easton pant. The Eastons seems slightly bulkier than a lot of other brands probably because they have a lot of protection. I myself prefer their fit as opposed to other brands. I also like the Mission fit and find their pants are very well ventilated.

I'm the opposite. Can't fit my legs in a CCM or Easton pant. I find Easton and CCM to run smaller in general. Mission and RbK are fine. I also let the leg zippers open to allow for more "freedom".

Really - I find the legs on the Easton 500's the same width as those of the XXL L3's I had. I think I am going to swap them towards a pair of Itech 6600'S - they are pretty much the same as the Mission L line, if I'm not mistaken - I'll see if I can go XL in them.
