The sports chek near my house, is selling these helmets for 59.99 cnd... so if anyone wanted me to pick them up a couple or one.. just lemme know...

didn't know if its some kind of deal, but i thought it was pretty cheap...

Thats a damn good deal on a damn good helmet. I bought one with a cage for $76 USD at my shop and love it. I just need to break it in a little more.

The hockey showcase sale. Awesome stuff they have, the Mission Warp glove from what I heard is a SMU for Sportcheck and is a cross between a M-1 and M-2 and only at 49.99 seems nice. THat helmet I havent tried on but I dont like the look of it.

You can't see it when its on you, and I kinda like the design of it anyway ;). The protection and foam on the helmet is SUPERB. IT fits real snug on my dome.

i'm liking it so far..

it fits just as nice as my carbster...

but just wondering, if anyone has it... ? and if they did... did you guys get a visor on it? i can't seem to slip my oakley visor on it... i got one side on... but once i kinda screw in the other side.. there is about 2 inches from the helmet to the visor.. there is a huge gap between them...

I only have the cage on it, but Theo Fleury had the tinted visor on it...so im gonna say that it's gotta fit...

you need to use those white washers on each side.

I picked up a couple of longer screws and some nylon nuts and washers to take up the extra space.It works really well that way.

Does anyone happen to know if the Quest helmet will be as wide as a CCM?

allrite. so i got the visor on, and there still is a huge gap even with what chadd suggested... its cause there isn't enough space to put the visor on... like its too long or something.. any suggestions? should i just Force it in there?

Stack a couple of nylon nuts and/or thick washers to take up the space.

Hey Chadd, whats the interior of the Quest Helmet like? Is it just like a Bauer 4000 or is it more like the 5000?

I believe it is more like the 5000, I've never used one. I'm not a fan of them.

liners not really like the 5000. its nike fitposit and not gel/memory foam. feels a bit like cloth but doesnt have as much give as memory foam.

Is it better then a 4000 because thats what I have. I am looking into the CCM memory foram since its a wider fit.
