supreme 70 tendon guard

hey all

the tendon guard on my left skate has broke right where it connects to the skate. it is still attached but it is floppy. i did a search on msh members posts and found that nikebauer covers this issue under warranty. wondering how i would go about the warranty. i have read that it is also possible to get it repaired at your lhs. is that covered under warranty from the lhs? what should i do?
