skating while you're on the road. . .

I'm debating whether to bring my RH skates with me while I'm on the road. Traveling with them is a bit more of a hassle, they also weigh a fair bit. But I'd like to roll around a bit on the street as well, so what do you guys do?

One option I've weighed is to buy a beater pair of skates at Play It Again or something like that, to offset the cost of renting a pair of skates. Of course, that's if they have my size.

Any thoughts?

Bring your own. Its worth it, I always do. Fun to skate around whereever.

Me and the wife always back the ice skates. I like to go to different sheets to see whats out there. We figure if we pack them and we need them, well good. If we don't. oh well.
