Blade making "cracking" noises when flexed on OPS

Hey everyone, so i've got a OPS here and whenever i try to bend/flex the blade only using my hand, i can hear the insides, most likely the foam etc. make cracking noises and such. Is this the sign that tells me that the blade is now soft and is no longer good for use? I don't usually break sticks or blades, but i feel like i've lost some power in shooting and passing etc. since the blade has seen to become soft....is it time for a replacement?

You say that you feel like you're losing power on shots and passes, that is the sign that tells you what you want to know. The fact that you hear a sound doesn't matter. That sound is usually indicative of problems but it's the performance that makes the difference.
