Removing the steel from my Vapor XX

Hey guys, I need to remove the steel from my Vapor XX skates to give them a good clean and clear up some small amounts of rust etc.

How do I go about removing them?

Use the super long hex wrench that came with them, remove insole, pop off white cap, insert hex wrench, remove bolt (have skate turned upside down while doing this), bang heel of blade against something rubber, pull down on steel and remove. BAM! DONE!

I should have mentioned I bought them second hand, so no key came with.

By hex wrench do you also mean an allen key?
