Do the Sharks have problems?

Recommended Posts

Marleau - Isn't a good captain at all, doesn't seem to motivate his teammates.

Cheechoo- This guy's a joke. He does have the best shot on the team without a doubt though. He needs to be spoon-fed to get goals.

Thornton- Pass and pray that someone can hit the net instead of the posts

Michalek- will never be as good as Getzlaf.

Erhoff- the 7th man on the opposing team cos he gives very nice turnovers.

Nabby- how many crucial saves can he actually make?

Ron Wilson - HANTA YO!

I can go on and on....

PS: I can't believe my 800th post is for bashing the Sharks :(

Giguere-he just butterflys and the puck hits him sometimes

Ovechkin-he never passes and just shoots

Bowman-he just talks a lot

Alfredsson-he just dives and whines too much

Luongo-his rebound control is horrible

Chara-he's just tall

Crosby-He will never be as good as gretzky

I think the Sharks' only problem that I can tell is having one dipshit fan.

They have a few, this guy just decided to be vocal.

After the shittiest performance tonight, my words are proven.

I agree they looked awful; they completely collapsed in the 3rd period. They can't play defense. The night was capped off when Grier collided with his teammate trying to keep up with Datsyuk, talk about a train wreck. They'll need to make some big changes if they ever plan on getting past Detroit if they make the playoff's. As good as Thornton is he's not a leader.... neither is Marleau...

I agree with your discription of how they played last night, but it was only one game against a very good team. Detroit is the best team in the league right now. They have Zetterburg who is leading the league in points and goals, and Holmstrom who is tied for 3rd in goals. Not to mention Datsyuk who is one of the best players in the league as well. Oh yeah and a defender named Nik Lindstrom he's pretty good too.

Ryan Clowe is a pretty good player for them too. He brings a lot of energy to the table and works pretty well with THorton and cheecho.

Saw the lines listed for the game against the CBJ tonite...but Clowe and Cheechoo isn't paired with Thornton so that doesn't help much =D But then again, it might change. And of all ppl, Roenick is the RW on Thornton's line.

Ron Wilson doesn't stick with line combonations long enough IMO. I understand that it is necessary to juggle the lines sometimes, but, this season, Wilson gives each line 1 or 2 periods, and if they aren't getting it done, he changes it. This happens every game. He is not giving each line time to build chemistry before he swaps up the line combonations. I can go on about the rest of their problems, but it'll take too long. Despite the way they have played so far this season, I think the Sharks will hit stride soon.

Btw, looking back on the previous pages, anyone that says Marleau isn't a good playoff performer has obviously ignored what he has done in the playoffs prior to last year.
