RBK Steel question

Every couple of games I have to tighten the steel on my skates, no big deal but it's slightly annoying. I got told that if I replaced the scalloped steel with regular steel it would stop happening. True?

I also need suggestions. I keep blowing a rivit on the outside of my left skate. I was told that it's because of the way I turn and skate (that's my strong side.) Anyway to fix this other than fix my skating?

Anyway, its the one right under the ball of my foot, under the 5th eyelet (from the bottom.)

I have the lifts put in and someone gave me a backhanded compliment by saying "Your skating is better, but i'm sure it will eff up your skates."

They're probably putting in too long of a rivet.

Have them copper it.
