Difference between Sr and Jr XXXX skates

So here is the story:

I bought a pair of size 6 vapor xxxx skates a month ago and i found out that its half a size too big for me so i decided maybe i should buy a 5.5 which is a junior. So i called in for the price and it came out pretty cheap compare to my senior ones. When i bought my senior ones the price of them were 699 candian and now the price of the junior ones are 259US, so i am really interested to know is there any down specs or difference between two of them.

They're cheaper because they dont need as much material

They are also less stiff, which I'm sure means slightly different amounts of material used.
